MA Father Allowed on Campus, Still No Notification
You may remember David Parker's plight. He's the Massachusetts father who was jailed for refusing to leave an agreed meeting with his 5-year old son's school officials. Parker had arranged the meeting to express his objection after his son brought home the book "Who's in a Family?" as part of a "diversity book bag."

The trespassing charges against Parker were dropped on October 20th. Now school officials say he will be allowed access to the campus, where his son still attends school. They announced, however, that they will not change the school notification policy, meaning that Parker will still not be notified about the sexual content of material presented to his now-6-year-old son.
On Sept. 21 Ash (Paul B. Ash, Superintendent of Lexington Schools) published a statement in the local newspaper informing the town he told teachers they have no obligation to notify parents on subjects of homosexual relationships, even in lower grades.
"To our knowledge, this order by Ash is the most arrogant, anti-parent act by any school system in the country regarding homosexuality and schoolchildren – essentially telling parents that they have no right to interfere with what the school decides to teach their kids about sexual morality," an Article 8 statement said.
Yes, how could they possibly let parents decide what their kids will be taught about sexuality? They might do something horribly parental, like instilling values and morals in their own children.
