Thank You Prez. Bush!

Finally. President Bush will be spending some time at the border to push for immigration reforms that most agree are long overdue.

Kidding!

Of course our President doesn't want to change the status quo, nope, what he wants is to continue flooding the country with cheap labor and turn America into just another third world country.

From the AP article --

The president's plan pairs a guest worker program for foreigners with border security enforcement, an attempt to satisfy both his business supporters, who believe foreign workers help the economy, and his conservative backers, who take a hard line on illegal immigration.
In Tucson, the president planned to aim his remarks at those conservatives, emphasizing his proposals to secure the border, remove people who enter the country illegally and strengthen enforcement of immigration laws.

How many ways can we tell this guy no? Is there some part of "oh my god, no, no, please make it stop!" that he is incapable of understanding?

Harry Reid opens his gaping cakehole and adds this steaming nugget--

"Enforcement alone does not work. Unless we address the gap between our immigration laws and reality, illegal immigration will not stop and the situation on the border will continue to be chaotic," Reid said.
The Democrat implored Bush to "stand up to the right wing of your party and stand up for what is right" by taking more than an enforcement-only approach to illegal
immigration.

Why is it Democrats always get thier undies in a bunch over law enforcement. If you believed Democrats you might believe that this problem was not amenable to enforcement, and yet, it is enforceable. All we have to do is want to and stop giving those who enable criminals a voice and a vote. No matter how much the activist groups want the law to be broken, it is not thier right to agitate for further lawlessness. Shall we get vocal for the rights of pedophiles (I apologize to the ACLU for being insensitive to thier eminently reasonable support for sweaty, nasty pedophiles, I'm certain that's completely different)

Bush has been urging Congress to act on a guest worker program for more than a year. Under his plan, undocumented aliens would be allowed to get three-year work visas. They could extend that for an additional three years, but would then have to return to their home countries for a year to apply for a new work permit.

Yeah, cuz' why wouldn't we think they'll just go home at the end of thier stay? It's worked so well up till now.

several businessess, notably the meatpacking industry, have threatened to leave if they are not supplied with unrestricted slave labor, oops!, of course I meant to say undocumented aliens that they can pay for shit and toss away like used toilet paper should they be hurt or demand a living wage.

Look, I support capitalism, but this ain't it, okay? This is feudal lords demanding peons because they might earn a couple of cents less on the dollar. I have worked for plenty of businessess that could afford to hire Americans that refused. Flat out refused to give jobs to Americans.

And why should they when our government, specifically President Bush, fill thier plants and factories with discounted labor. The free market only works with a level playing field. It is not a level playing field when some who take jobs have no interest in being a part of this society and simply live like animals for a time before returnig to wherever they come from with their ill gotten American loot.

You can't compete with that, you can't. And yet this is exactly what the president wants to encourage even more of.

Why?

Cuz' we be diggin' the slaves in America.
