Goldwater: Put'em To Work!

Seems Arizona is chock-a-bloc full of crybaby politicians.  This comes as a surprise to me knowing how many people there are armed to the teeth...
GOP Candidate's Call for Labor Camp Rebuked

WASHINGTON Jun 23, 2006 (AP)— A Republican gubernatorial candidate's call for creation of a forced labor camp for illegal immigrants drew rebukes Friday from two GOP lawmakers, who labeled it a low point in the immigration debate.

Don Goldwater, nephew of the late Sen. Barry Goldwater, caused an international stir this week when EFE, a Mexican news service, quoted him as saying he wanted to hold undocumented immigrants in camps to use them "as labor in the construction of a wall and to clean the areas of the Arizona desert that they're polluting."

The article described Goldwater's plan as a "concentration camp" for migrants.
So far I'm liking this plan, seems fair to me, you pollute it -- you clean it.

Also, are you as relieved as I am that the Mexican newspaper didn't get all; hysterical or anything? Concentration camp is pretty calm as far as their concerned, seeing as they call the Minutemen "migrant hunters.'

Unfortunately he backs off the issue...
Goldwater, a candidate for governor in Arizona, said in a statement Friday that his comments were taken out of context. He said he was calling for a work program for convicted nonviolent felons, similar to "tried and tested, effective and accepted practices" used by state and local jails.
Oh well, actually expecting any politician to stand up to Mexico is a bit of a pipe dream. Now we come to the bedwetters...(bedwetting and general ninniness bolded for your reading pleasure)
But two Republicans, Arizona Sen. John McCain and Rep. Jim Kolbe, called Goldwater's comments "deeply offensive" and asked state Republicans to reject his candidacy in the Sept. 12 primary.

"That Mr. Goldwater is either unaware of or indifferent to the loaded symbolism, injustice and un-Americanism of his 'plan' to address the many serious issues caused by illegal immigration reveals his flaws as a candidate and a stunning lack of respect for the basic values of a generous and decent society," (as opposed say, to millions of hungry locusts pouring over the border? --ed.)McCain said in a statement.

Kolbe said that if the comments are true, Goldwater "has demonstrated his complete unworthiness for public office, and I am confident he will be soundly rejected by Republicans from the party of Barry Goldwater, who consistently demonstrated his compassion and respect for all people. This is a sad day in the national debate on immigration policy."

McCain and Kolbe favor a guest-worker program for illegal immigrants.
So, is this guy a Nazi or what? Of course you've seen a layup site right? A layup site is where the illegals jettison their excess baggage immediately before the final push into the United Economy of America.

You have seen one before, right?

Well your in luck, feast your eyes on the beauty...

Lovely ain't it?  This is some of the most fragile ecology in this country, but since it's those lovable rascals from Mexico despoiling the environment it's all good, right?

What precisely is un-American about asking those who create the mess to clean it up on their way out of the USATM*? I mean what' the beef exactly?

When I was a kid if you say TP'd a neighbors house (not that I ever did such a thing of course) and got caught? Would it be un-American if they demanded you clean up the mess? What if you got caught spray painting graffiti, would it be un-American to ask you to scrub the paint off?

Of course not, and that's why you see folks with orange vests on picking up what?

Trash perhaps?

So, because I'm a little slow on the uptake allow me to walk through the specious logic flowing like mental diahrrea from our esteemed Senators noggins. It is perfectly okay, peachy keen in fact, to demand that incarcerated Americans perform "forced labor," but if we were to ask the innumerable criminals streaming over our joke of a border to do the exact same thing we DEMAND of CITIZENS, that'd be un-American?

This makes my ass itch!

Attention residents of Arizona, would you please vote Mssrs Mcjoke and Kolbert out of office and spare Jake future migraine's?

Thanks so much!
