It's Treason as Usual at the NYT

Source: New York Times (H/T Michelle Malkin)

The Bush administration is rushing a delivery of precision-guided bombs to Israel, which requested the expedited shipment last week after beginning its air campaign against Hezbollah targets in Lebanon, American officials said Friday.

The decision to quickly ship the weapons to Israel was made with relatively little debate within the Bush administration, the officials said. Its disclosure threatens to anger Arab governments and others because of the appearance that the United States is actively aiding the Israeli bombing campaign in a way that could be compared to Iran’s efforts to arm and resupply Hezbollah.
Un-be-freakin'-lievable. NOT. Actively, deliberately, and persistently seeking to harm this country and her allies. If that's not treason, I don't know what is. There need to be severe consequences for what this worthless rag is doing to our country while hiding under the skirts of respectable journalism.

Michelle Malkin also shared some shed light on these leaks...from former NYT Editor Howell Raines himself...

One audience member asked about the role of media leaks. Raines opted not to go in-depth since he no longer is a working journalist, but offered a bit of a leak of his own:

"Almost all leakers are lawyers. That's the bottom line."

Shocker. With bottom feeders like the NYT and lawyers, it must be a constant competition to see who can feed the lowest.
