A Letter To Katie...

Katie's Dad, the writer of Unabashedly Unhyphenated, is one of the best writer's in the blogosphere.  There are many bloggers I am envious of, but he's near the top of that list.

He digs back into his archives to an older piece, a letter he wrote his daughter laying out in uncompromising terms his hopes for her future and his love of this great country.

A taste...

First and foremost, always remember that you come from a family and heritage that is special. Some of your ancestors took great risks to come to this land at a time in which many with similar ideals, dreams and intentions did not even survive the voyage. Quite a few of your ancestors conquered a frontier and started a whole new culture that was unlike any other before it in the history of humanity.
