Interesting Slip Or Necessary Diversion?

Immigration debate erupts at UTSA

A simmering debate over illegal immigration at the University of Texas at San Antonio -- where 45 percent of students are Hispanic -- erupted into a heated protest Wednesday during an outdoor speech by Chris Simcox, founder of the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps. UTSA's chapter of the Young Conservatives of Texas invited Simcox, whose groups of volunteers patrol the Mexican border to stop illegal immigrants from entering the country. Liberal groups descended on the Simcox talk, booing and chanting into bullhorns throughout the speech and clashing with university police who were pushing them away from the stage. The spectacle drew a crowd of about 750 to the university's Sombrilla Plaza, making it perhaps the largest culture clash on campus to date.

“He’s racist,” said Justin Felux, a member of the Student Worker Teacher Alliance, the group that organized the protest. “It’s a continuation of the Ku Klux Klan border watch in the 1970s.”
Liberal groups? Really? Hmmm, that's interesting. First off I Googled the 'Student Teacher Worker Alliance," oddly they don't appear to have a website. Second, at the link you'll find a video link. Should you care to observe this tripe you will note at the very beginning of the piece a gentleman clad in a Che T-shirt. The audio didn't work for me but I'll wager if it had I might have heard a chant or two mentioning 'workers?'

Are we to now believe that Che was a liberal? Had the media been doing their job and not covering for them here's more than likely what we would have seen...

I mean, my god! How desperate is the media to cover for these guys. They're Socialists, Anarchists and Communists. Though perhaps these "journalists" all got A's in their euphemism classes.

Or, is this the new liberalism? Sounds about right to me.
