Lies And The Lying Liars Who Tell Them: ACLU Edition

Okay, I'm better now. Gribbit at Stop The ACLU directed my attention to this story. It seems the right of girl children to have abortions is being questioned. Horrors, what's next, no sex on the school busses? It's abuse I tell you, abuse.

In this article the lying scumbag ACLU manage to exclude one word that would make all the difference. Let me just insert couple of sentences to give you the flavor of the thing--

When a woman is facing a medical emergency, her doctor should be able to treat her immediately, without having to delay care until they find a judge who can give permission.

What's the missing word? Whatever could it be? Hmmm...nope, almost had it there, wait, wait.

We're not talking about a thirty five year old woman, we're talking about teen-agers here. My question would be this: at what age is a teenager a woman?

As Jay admirably pointed out, if parents are responsible for every other aspect of a childs life, why not this one. Why is this one thing different.

I don't know either, and I think it's utterly ridiculous and you know if you were talking to a lefty they wouldn't be able to muster an argument either. They's just start spluttering about 'freedoms' and 'fascists', but what is fascist about a parent being informed thier child will be undergoing a moderately dangerous procedure?
