The Freedom Folks: Race Pandering Whore Award

It appears we have another winner.

Our pal Rick Biesada, the head of the Chicago Minutemen has a great piece up in the Federal Observer.

No Time For Idiots!

I'm growing weary of the treachery poised at American citizens by a band of imbecilic, and arrogant public servants. I have no time to deal with idiots, so, I feel that the time has come to bring back corporal punishment as an object lesson to public officials who violate the peoples trust.
Who's he talking about?

Senator Juan "Chuy" Hinojosa: District 20

Lawyer, state senator, asshat!

Here's what he had to say regarding the Minutemen coming to Texas...

I think it's a problem all of Texas has having vigilante groups from other parts of the country come here to try and tell us how to run
our business," said state senator Juan "Chuy" Hinojosa, an author of a resolution that urges Governor Rick Perry, to oppose minuteman plans to guard the Tex - Mex border this coming October.

You knew there had to be more...

"I don't think there's any doubt that there is a tinge of racism beneath the surface in their attempt to try and stop immigrants from Mexico.”

You know how I feel about that one leetle word...MJ has the hookup

Okay, a little Google rundown on the the asshat in chief.

Ahem, Senor, pardon me, I mean Mr. Hinojosa,

Was caught attempting to carry a gun onto a plane, and him a Democrat, for shame.

Earlier this year, law enforcement officials accused him of having a vendetta against the state’s drug task forces after he sponsored a bill putting them under the authority of the Texas Department of Public Safety. Six months earlier the South Texas Specialized Crime and Narcotics Task Force had pulled him over outside
Kingsville for allegedly weaving in and out of lanes and having too dark a tint
on the windows of his SUV.

Twice he’s caught flack for his use of legislative continuances to delay cases in which he’s involved — first in 2001 when he represented the Bridgestone-Firestone tire company and then again this January when he represented Vioxx, the pharmaceutical company. In the case of Vioxx, Hinojosa did withdraw from the case, and in 2003 he filed legislation to make it more difficult for legislators to file for continuances.

Then there was his blowup at Harlingen Valley International Airport in 2002, when
Hinojosa refused to submit to a security search. According to Hinojosa, the
incident occurred after he’d already been searched twice on his way through the
airport.

A woman linked to Hinojosa was arrested at the McAllen airport for marijuana possession. The two were on the same flight and when asked about the episode Wednesday, Hinojosa said he did not know the woman at the time and was only giving her a ride home at her request.
Okay, here's my basic beef. We've got a fella here who was a Marine during vietnam, came home became a lawyer, and now accuses folks who are against ILLEGAL immigration of racism.

I have to be frank, I think a person with his surname shold have some sensitivity, not to white Americans, but to Americans, of which distinction he is not. I think he should be sensitive to the fact he looks like he's selling this country out in favor of 'his' people, and I ain't talking about Americans. Cuz', see they ain't a whole lot of Americans on the South side of that border.

I think he should be a scosh more sensitive to those who love this country, which he so clearly doesn't, and perhaps, just perhaps, he should move to the country he actually supports, a hint, again, not America.

Rick sums up well here...

When a public official tells you that you don't have the right to report a crime being committed in front of your very eyes, or if they want to impede your right as a citizen to arrest a criminal in the commission of a crime... then it is "they" who are not welcome. They are not welcome in government, or any place else where an American's rights can be violated or usurped.
Sing it brother, sing it!
