Letter Writing campaign
Army Staff Sgt. Rickey Jones, 21, of Kokomo, Indiana was killed Feb. 22 when an IED expoded near his Humvee during patrol operations in Hawijah, Iraq.
His families home was then vandalized by anti-war ghouls and they have been receiving phone calls with the message "we're glad your son is dead."
Earlier report here.
The good folks over at A Soldier's Perspective have decided to start a letter writing campaign and I'm on that like Durkee hot sauce on grits.
This is important folks, gestures like this are the heart and sinews of a country. This brave young man died protecting your freedom, now his family is hurting. What will you do to help?
Imagine how good you'll feel letting this family know how much their sacrifice means to you. Now, shut off the TV, sit down and write a letter, you'll be glad you did!
Thanks,
Jake
