The Craziness Inches Closer

EL PASO, Tx. - Supporters of the Mexican rebel leader Subcomandante Marcos have blocked the Stanton Street bridge on the Mexican side of the border.

According to reports into the ABC-7 Breaking News center, US supporters of Marcos marched south over the bridge, meeting with Marcos supporters marching north.

The blockade started shortly after 10am Wednesday morning, and ended a short time later.

The masked Zapatista rebel leader arrived in Juárez on Tuesday. Marcos is in the area to meet with sympathizers from both sides of the border.
A little detail on Subcomandante Marcos...
Like many of his generation, Guillén was radicalised by the events of 1968 and became a militant in a Maoist organisation. However, the encounter with the outlook of the indigenous peasants of Chiapas transformed the Zapatistas' ideology, and Marcos has embraced an approach to social revolution that has been described by some as post-modernist; others argue that his philosophies and actions are more closely related to the revisionist Marxist ideals of Antonio Gramsci that were popular in Mexico during his time at university.
He has said...
The only way to get their attention is to kill or be killed. If you ask us what's going to happen in the near future, we have no fucking idea. Sorry for using the word 'idea.' We are ready to go to war or move on to peace.
Can someone tell me why we are welcoming this? As he SHUTS DOWN AN INTERNATIONAL BRIDGE BETWEEN MEXICO AND THE UNITED STATES?

Mexico is ripe for a revolution. Has been for fifty years or so, do we want to welcome that revolution here?
