She agrees with Goeas that many Latinos hold conservative values like religion, tradition and entrepreneurship. “So, in lots of way, they’re natural Republicans,” Jacoby said. She points out, however, that they are pragmatic voters. “They vote for who does a better job on the issues they care about.”
