Welcome To The Freedom Folks Remedial English 101

Source: NYP

It feels a never ending quest sometimes to correct the mangled and abused English of the lunatic pro-illegal and mass immigration forces. Though I suppose it stands to reason that if you support the insupportable, that may very well speak as to your mental capabilities.

A case in point from the New York Post....
“More than 50,000 adult noncitizen taxpayers in those two districts are disenfranchised by citizenship voting laws,” said Cheryl Wertz, of New Immigrant Community Empowerment, referring to today’s special election for council seats in Brooklyn and Staten Island.
Now, let's focus in on the key words in this tripe.

1.) Non-citizen

2.) Disenfranchised

Let's start with the latter. According the the Mirriam-Webster online dictionary 'disenfranchisement' is defined as...
Main Entry: dis·en·fran·chise
Pronunciation: "dis-in-'fran-"chIz
Function: transitive verb
: to deprive of a franchise, of a legal right, or of some privilege or immunity; especially : to deprive of the right to vote
Now, let's contrast that with the definition of the word 'enfranchise'...
Main Entry: en·fran·chise
Pronunciation: in-'fran-"chIz, en-
Function: transitive verb
Inflected Form(s): -chised; -chis·ing
Etymology: Middle English, from Anglo-French enfranchiss-, stem of enfranchir, from en- + franc free -- more at FRANK
1 : to set free (as from slavery)
2 : to endow with a franchise: as a : to admit to the privileges of a citizen and especially to the right of suffrage b : to admit (a municipality) to political privileges or rights
Let's focus in on definition #2...
to admit to the privileges of a citizen and especially to the right of suffrage
So, to be enfranchised one must be a what?

Citizen.

To be disenfranchised one must be a what?

Citizen.

So to show you the deep and chocolaty rich retardation of those who support illegal and mass immigration and their transcriptionists in the mainstream media I want you to enjoy with me as they invalidate their own argument in one sentence or less...(invalidating words bolded for your reading pleasure)
“More than 50,000 adult noncitizen taxpayers in those two districts are disenfranchised by citizenship voting laws,”
By very definition a "non-citizen" cannot be "disenfranchised." It is a linguistic and physical impossibility. They may argue any number of points, but unless we are now saying that language has no meaning? That words can mean anything hard core leftists and their cheerleaders in the press say they mean?

Then this was the argument that never was.

H/T The Big Dog who takes a more Constitutional approach to rebutting this nonsense!
