U.S. Can't Account for 600,000 Fugitives

WASHINGTON (AP) - Teams assigned to make sure foreigners ordered out of the United States actually leave have a backlog of more than 600,000 cases and can't accurately account for the fugitives' whereabouts, the government reported Monday.

But have no fear, they will carefully screen all 1,905,687,420 illegal immigrant leeches clamoring for amnesty for criminal records -- disease -- terrorist affiliations -- good character -- minty freshness, no really! That's different silly!

Just because they can't keep track of a mere 600,000 fugitives has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with performing all the pertinent checks on a bare minimum of 12,000,000 illegal aliens.

Keep in mind that when the program decribed in the story you linked to was initiated four and half years ago, there were "only" 300,000 immigration absconders — people who'd had their day in immigration court, been ordered deported, and then ran off and became fugitives. Now there are twice as many. But don't worry — that will all magically change once the Bush-Kennedy-McCain amnesty passes.
