Ted Turner: Bush Might Launch Nukes

Former CNN honcho Ted Turner is warning that President Bush is so crazy that he's liable to start a nuclear war.
While urging unilateral nuclear disarmament to a Kansas State University audience on Monday, Turner declared: "You have to question ... the president on a lot of
decisions he's made. He might just think launching those weapons would be a good
thing to do. ... He thought Iraq was." In quotes picked up by the Associated Press, Turner warned that the U.S. and Russia still have thousands of nukes pointed at each other, which could be launched on a "hair trigger" basis. He said if he were in charge "we'd be rid of them." The CNN founder argued that war is an outdated form of diplomacy that has stopped working. Story Continues Below
"You would think that we would have learned that in Vietnam," he lamented. Turner also complained that Iraq is "no better off" since the U.S. toppled Saddam Hussein and liberated the country.
