Just Want To State The Obvious Here...

'Shoot illegals' comment earns host FCC complaint

Arizona's attorney general and a U.S. federal attorney filed a complaint with the Federal Communication Commission yesterday against a Phoenix radio station and a fill-in talk show host over comments made last month suggesting the solution to the illegal immigration problem was to "randomly pick one night every week where we will kill whoever crosses the border."

In their letter to the FCC, Attorney General Terry Goddard and U.S. Attorney Paul Charlton criticized the March 8 broadcast by host Brian James on KFYI as "dangerous."
I just want to state something here that I think is obvious. We could do this. In fact as a nation state we would be well within our rights to do this.

Somehow it has become common wisdom that people have the right to cross our Southern border. This is beyond ludicrous, in fact this attitude is quite a bit more dangerous than any DJ's comments.

Because if Hector the busboy or Juan the gardener has a "right" to cross our border. Then so does Achmed the terrorist.

In fact if everybody has the "right" to cross our borders then we no longer exist as a nation and might as well pack it in.

I've asked this before but I think it bears repeating, is America a nation or merely an economy with the trappings of a nation? Because if it's the latter someone needs to let me know so I can stop fighting for a country that no longer exists.
