Slip Of The Tongue?

Michael Medved is bad on immigration, I listen to him every afternoon and I assure you he is out of step with the American people, which is fine. It's his show and he's entitled to his opinion no matter how crazy.

But I thought this was interesting. He had Tony Snow on the show today and Tony was shilling the president's amnesty plan, a bit later a caller took Michael to task on his pro-ilegal position. Michael protested and began trotting out strawmen. During this embarassing display he brought up mass deportations and said...

"No one will stand for Americans being rounded up and deported."

Um, Mike, not only aren't restrictionists calling for mass deportations, we even know what Americans are, and they ain't those who came here illegally.

I think this is an example of what goes through the soggy mind of a pro-illegal person's mind.
