Yay! Drug cartels continue to thumb nose at stupid Americans, President Bush responds by referring to Mexico as our "bestest buddies."
MISSION VIEJO, Calif. -- A massive marijuana crop found in a public park in Mission Viejo last week may have caused extensive damage to the land where it was grown, according to NBC4.

Park rangers are investigating pesticides used on the illegal pot farm and are checking for toxins in nearby water sources. They say the damage could cost tens of thousands of dollars to repair.

It could take up to three years for the natural habitat to grow back.

Last week, authorities hauled out nearly 20,000 plants from O'Neill Regional Park, about $10 million worth.
