The title is quoting Debbie Schussel's piece on Mayor Bill Purcell after he triumphantly vetoed a measure to make English the official language of Nashville...

If this ordinance becomes law, Nashville will become a less safe, less friendly and less successful city. And as mayor, I cannot allow that to happen.
