Is There Anything Lefties DON'T Want to Hand Illegals on a Silver Platter?
Apparently, the answer is NO.
In her latest "Screw you, Americans," Hillary indicates yet another way she wants the federal government to foot the bill for people who are in this country illegally:
In a statement posted to her official Senate web site on Wednesday, Clinton said that the DHS should "issue a formal statement reassuring immigrant victims of Hurricane Rita and Katrina that they can seek help from relief agencies without fear of deportation or being turned over to immigration authorities."

Why not? We're already paying for their education and healthcare, not to mention incarceration costs for those whose unlawfulness doesn't end when they enter the country unlawfully. I'll use some shocking stats from my state...
In 1994 (the latest year for which figures are available), the Urban Institute estimated that public services for illegal immigrants cost Illinois $136 million: $112 million for public education, $6.2 million for incarceration, and $17.4 million for Medicaid. During the same year, illegal immigrants in Illinois paid only two-thirds that amount in federal, state, and local taxes, the study found.
I'm getting my info from FAIR, who also report that...
432,000 illegal aliens resided in Illinois as of 2000, according to INS figures. This is 49 percent higher than the previous INS estimate in 1996 and 123 percent higher than the estimate for 1990.
Those spending number are over 10 years old. I don't even want to think about how much we're spending today ON PEOPLE WHO ARE HERE ILLEGALLY AND, THEREFORE, HAVE NO RIGHT TO THESE SERVICES!
When is it going to stop? The left is only working to make it worse. And where is the right? Well, President Bush is pushing amnesty programs and doing nothing that I can see to keep illegals out or kick out the ones who are already here. Something has got to change. I just pray that our country doesn't become one where no one wants to immigrate anymore before we do something about it.
