Liberal Educators Gone Wild!

What the @#$&!?? I know, I know...I shouldn't be surprised at any story that conveys just how liberal our schools are, but @#$&!

Teachers and administrators not only encouraging their high school students to skip school to attend the World Can't Wait (Drive Out the Bush Regime) rally, but also providing transportation on the taxpayers' dime?

School district officials said since the kids were going to attend anyway, they thought it best to provide adult staff to accompany them, as well as buses to return students to school.

But don't think this is just a single event. Unfortunately, Ari Kaufman's personal experience as a teacher in Los Angeles is just a drop in the bucket...

It is no longer a secret that many public and private universities are populated by professors who use their classrooms to recruit students to their political agendas. But while the politicization of the universities is now common knowledge, an even more distressing instance of this abuse is to be found in the nation’s K-12 schools.

And while teachers are busy indoctrinating kids with their personal political and social opinions instead of teaching them and encouraging them to make up their own minds, the courts aren't letting any grass grow under their feet when it comes to taking away parental rights concerning their children's education...

The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled yesterday against parents who sued their local school district after their elementary-age children were given a sexually charged survey, saying there is "no fundamental right of parents to be the exclusive provider of information regarding sexual matters to their children."

The three-judge panel of the full court further ruled that parents "have no due process or privacy right to override the determinations of public schools as to the information to which their children will be exposed while enrolled as students."

Thanks so much, 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. Thanks so much, Los Angeles Unified School District. Glad to see you're staying on top of your self-appointed missions to brainwash rather than teach and make law rather than uphold it. Glad to see you don't feel any compunction to do the important jobs with which you've been entrusted, or any shame for taking hard-earned taxpayer money to blow them off to further your own agendas.
