Personal Prayer Request

I've been pretty quiet for a couple of days now -- Jake has been picking up my slack most excellently.

I'm not supposed to be using my hand right now, so I'll be brief. I have developed a skin infection in my right hand, and the doctor announced yesterday that surgery is required to try to stop it from spreading. I go to the surgical center tomorrow morning.

I have an underlying condition that makes this more dangerous and, as some of you may know, I make my living on a computer. Your prayers for tomorrow to be a success, and for a speedy recovery so I can get back to work, would be greatly appreciated!

Jake will post an update tomorrow, and we both thank you for your thoughts and prayers.
