Steamed with ICE
I was under an evident misapprehension as to what the DHS agency ICE stood for. I previously thought it was Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Apparently, it actually stands for Incompetent Criminal Employers...
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Agents returning from New Orleans say that the agency employed illegal aliens to serve ICE agents food during the ongoing relief efforts. Few of the servers even spoke English, the ICE agents report.
Debbie Schlussel has more. (Hat tip: Michelle Malkin)
This would be bad enough if they were just anyone employing illegals. But they're not just anyone. They are the people charged with immigration enforcement. Let me say that again: they are the people charged with IMMIGRATION ENFORCEMENT. That means that they are not only supposed to know that being here illegally is a bad thing, they're supposed to do something about it.
A tip to any and all ICE personnel out there who haven't figured this out yet: doing something about it does NOT include EMPLOYING ILLEGALS! Let's go over this one more time, just to make sure you've got it. Finding illegals, getting them out of the country, keeping them out of the country, punishing them & those who employ them: GOOD. Employing them yourselves: BAD. Very bad.
Did I mention that I'm steamed?
