Giant Cranium Syndrome Strikes Again

Giant Cranium Syndrome or GCS is more common than you might think. Many have been reduced to quivering blobs by this horrific diagnosis. Not John Kerry though, he's just too much of a scrapper to let something like this slow him down.

Of course, there is a price to be paid for such bravery. Today he suffered another relapse, saying on the record “No one…NO ONE on the Democratic or Republican side…is calling for timetable for withdrawal of troops”.

The sound of choked back sobs echoed through the chamber when it became clear that this brave, brave man was caught in the grip of this punishing killer.

It was during the Presidential race that we first learned how afflicted the Senator really was. Statements such as "I voted for the war before I voted against it" and "Reporting for duty" were classic examples of the ravages of this silent scourge.

It was noted today by a colleague who preferred to remain nameless that Mr. Kerry's cranium appeared swollen and irritated shortly before he took the mic. With that special brand of stoicism that served him well in Cambodia he soldiered on irrespective of the fact that he was spouting gibberish.

You gotta admire pluck like that.
