Guard The Borders Blogburst follow-up
The Guard The Borders Blogburst posted last night focused on the Minutemen's efforts to raise a fence on our Southern border. This is something our government opposes, and as I've said before I'm fascinated, simply fascinated as I watch our elected representatives attempt to squirm their way out of doing what a whole pisspot of the American people want and are demanding.
Enter the Minutemen. The Minutemen have undetaken to build a barrier on the border, though over 800 feet of it have already been damaged. This story shows the necessity of American citizens taking this issue away from our untrustworthy government...
New border official opposes immigration fenceNo Mr. Basham, our president doesn't support anything that might put a crimp in the unimpeded flow of wage deflating illegals into this country. If we're extra lucky perhaps we'll even get another one of these, or these, or maybe we'll just build the damn wall!
‘It’s not practical,’ security head says of proposed wall along Mexican line
TUCSON, Ariz. - Two weeks on the job, the new head of U.S. Customs and Border Protection said Tuesday he does not favor building a huge wall along the Mexican border.
“I don’t support, I don’t believe the administration supports a wall,” Commissioner W. Ralph Basham said in Tucson, where he met with patrol officials and agents before embarking on a tour across the Arizona desert.
Asked about proposals in Senate- and House-approved immigration measures to build security walls 380 or 700 miles long, respectively, Basham said, “It doesn’t make sense, it’s not practical.”
