Ex-convict immigrant found near Columbus

Source: elpasotimes
On Thursday, U.S. Border Patrol agents caught a Mexican national who had once been arrested for raping a Chicago teen.

Agents found the 39-year-old man from Durango, Mexico, among a group of immigrants crossing illegally near Columbus, N.M. The man had been convicted of predatory criminal sexual assault of a 13-year-old victim and spent six years in the Joliet State Prison in Illinois. The man is now facing re-entry after deportation charges for violating immigration laws and is being held at the Luna County Jail in Deming.
Yes, yes, they caught this one. Before you celebrate remember the Border Patrol estimates they only catch between 10 and 25 percent of all border crossers.

As we call it around here...The Deportation Joke!
