7/12 WTANSE Show Prep -- Welcome Racists, nativists and Xenophobes?
Welcome my fellow racists, nativists & xenophobes! (or to describe accurately, patriots, Americans and heroes!)
If you love this country you will be called a racist. If you feel illegal immigration should be stopped you will be called a racist. If you have questions about the number of immigrants we allow into this country you will be called a racist. If you hve concerns about the number and types of crimes being committed by ALL immigrants, both legal and illegal, you will be called a racist.
The sad part is that you will be called a racist by a bi-partisan coalition of America hating lefties, who have nothing but to offer but snark and sarcasm. On the right it's the Post American big business folks. Those who see America as nothing more than an economy from which to extract money, and god help the person who challenges that.
Who will call you a racist?
How about our President
Insane Socialists
Illegal immigrants
Idiots in general
My Summation...
Are you now, or have you ever been an American?
Because I saw zero Americans in that room, excepting MJ and I. I saw a bunch of race pandering whores, grievance mongering race baiters and general leftist asshats who were beneath my contempt. I have a simple rule I operate under, I only accept criticism of this country from those who want the best for this great land. If you hate this country, well, I for one ain't giving you the time of day, I'm just not. This is my primary problem with the left, I too often don't see any love or respect for this land in their eyes.
It's so bad here? Here's a thought, get the bleep out! If it's such a wonderland where you came from, why'd you come here?
Am I a racist for thinking these thoughts? To be perfectly candid, I no longer care. I am sick unto death of immigrants legal and illegal jumping up and down and explaining to me as though I were stupid that America is such a craphole.
I repeat, if it's so damn bad get the hell out, plenty of Marxist wonderlands out there. I'm sure Hugo Chavez would love to have ya.
To those on the right...
You (President Bush et al) continue to call anyone who wants a responsible immigration policy names like “Isolationist”, “Protectionist”, “Racist” or “Xenophobe”. I understand that you are not worried about re-election but those in congress had better be. Americans are tired of politicians ignoring their wishes and the backlash will be felt in 2006 and in 2008. I understand that your general view is that Americans will forget about this issue by November but you should ask John Kerry if the Internet and Bloggers can have an effect on politics and elections. I am sure he would tell you yes.
You need to understand that being against illegal immigration does not make one a racist, xenophobe or any of the other names you want to use. It makes one logical, law abiding, and evidently smarter then you.
No Mexicans!
No Mexicans in America. That's right, I just said I don't want any Mexicans in America, not one. I'm not crazy about folks from any other part of the world here either, but, we're all adults here, I think we can admit that the real problem is Mexico and Mexicans.
Does what I just said make you uncomfortable? Why? What do you think I was trying to say? Because I didn't say I didn't want any Hispanics or Latinos, take a moment and reread what I wrote. What I said, and said clearly was no Mexicans. I also don't want any Saudi's, Paki's, Russians, Germans, Irish, Brits, Africans and so on and so forth.
Have I managed to make your sphincter shrivel up yet? Have I pushed your PC buttons yet, have you called me a racist yet, in your heart? Come on, you can admit it, confession is good for the soul.
Yet what I said was in no way shape or form racist, nope, it was patriotic.
You know what I want in America?
Americans, and that is the proper, correct and healthy attitude to have. Yep, a country does best when the citizens are all pulling on the same oar. You may recall this gem from Teddy Roosevelt...
"In the first place we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the man's becoming in very fact an American, and nothing but an American...
There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag, and this excludes the red flag, which symbolizes all wars against liberty and civilization, just as much as it excludes any foreign flag of a nation to which we are hostile...We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language...and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."
--Theodore Roosevelt, 1919
How's your sphincter holding up? A little story from this weekend. Mj and I attended the "Frosty Woolridge 21st Century Paul revere Ride" this weekend. It was a protest held in front of Chicago's Mexican consulate. The counter protesters were comprised of primarily stinky socialist college kids and Communist professor types, with a few Latinos thrown in.
One quick aside, one of the ringleaders, identified through the bullhorn clutched in his sweaty hands, was a Latino fellow who unfortunately sounded exactly like Ricky Riccardo. I almost had a "Depends" moment when Ricky started chanting some crap about throwing the racist Minutemen out and all I could hear was "Lucy, you gotta stop these cresie Minutomen!"
Anyway, a young Hispanic woman approached the protest on foot. As she drew nearer she stopped and surveyed the gathering, looking at us, and then at the counter protestors, back and forth. Suddenly she pumped an arm in the air and shouted "Viva Mexico!"
"Viva Mexico?" Huh, perhaps I missed a memo, but I thought they were fighting to stay here, don't they want to be Americans?
"Viva Mexico?" What exactly is it these folks want? I don't really know. I know that the term Atzlan comes up more than I'm comfortable with. I know that Mexicans often love Mexico more than America, I know that I want these people removed from this country along with every single person that doesn't consider themselves an American.
"Viva Mexico."
I don't want foreign nationals feeling like they get to speak into our nation
But they really wanna!
How do Mexicans feel about America and Americans?
If you've never read this do so now!
My Summary
Yes Rosemary I look forward to the deportation of however many millions of illegal aliens may be in this country. You can cry racist all day long, it ain't true and saying it merely cheapens your point. Do you really believe my desire to see the law enforced and American citizenship treated somewhat better than a lottery prize is because I'm racist? Is there any rock you turn over where you don't see racism, or is it possible this is a mental disorder?
Racial cleansing? Good lord you idjit, if every illegal alien was removed from this country are you actually dumb enough to think it would suddenly be an all white country, well here's the 411 girlfriend, America is already the most wildly diverse country in the world. That's a good thing, however, overwhelming floods of illegal immigrants, not so good.
And finally in this cavalcade of idiocy. Free speech? What is Free speech Rosemary? I realize the med cart probably hasn't rolled to the psyche wing yet so let me help you out. Free speech is a...Civil right. Civil, having to do with what? Citizens!
If you ain't a citizen you do not have any civil rights and we are forced to invoke Jake's Ham Sammich rule (Jake's Ham Sammich Rule: All illegal aliens are entitled to a well prepared and frankly delicious Ham Sammich before we ask them sternly to get the hell out, as always a fizzy soda is optional). No Rosemary, if you had passed third grade civics in english you might understand that these rights only devolve on citizens of this great land. Had you been thinking about something other than how hard life is for a 'Latina', you might appreciate the need for all Americans to set aside their race and ethnicity to make something better, Americans.
That is the whole point of this experiment, isn't it?
We'll also be taking a look at illegal immigration news
We'll have your moment of Atzlan
And a special secret topic third hour that's too hot to mention, no I won't tell you what it is, you'll just have to listen!
